GUADALQUIVIR arose from the joining of forces and the compositions of the Spanish guitarists "ANDRES OLAEGUI" and LUIS COBO "MANGLIS". Through sharing their musical talents, they were able to achieve a fusion between the warmth of jazz rock and the magnetic energy of Flamenco, combined with the broad rhythmic base of JAIME CASADO and LARRY MARTIN and the magic of the saxophone and flute of PEDRO ONTIVEROS , a dash of Arabic flair and the exquisiteness of the most refined jazz standards. However, their most recognizable feature stems from the highly creative way in which they introduced the essence of Flamenco in their repertoire and were able to take it to a different level within "World Jazz Music", one of the essential props of the musical trend known as ANDALUSIAN ROCK .
